Richard Zahn Scholarship 2022-2023

For Entrepreneurs

Future entrepreneurship students are encouraged to  apply for the Richard Zahn Scholarship for Entrepreneurs, where $25,000 will be rewarded to a single student planning on studying to become an entrepreneur. There is a short essay requirement and the winner will be chosen based off of the content in the essay.

Scholarship Overview

Mr. Zahn has spent over thirty years as an entrepreneur and relishes the opportunity to give back to the next generation of student entrepreneurs with his scholarship award.

The Richard Zahn Scholarship for Entrepreneurs introduces our fund, which is offered to future entrepreneurship students who are located within the United States. We will provide $1000 of scholarship funding to a deserving student who is studying to enter into the field of entrepreneurship, and our aim is to create awareness for the difficulties young students face on the journey to a career in entrepreneurship.

Criteria

To apply, students should be enrolled at a university in the United States studying business, or a high school student that will attend university for a business degree.

We will award the scholarship based on an essay contest.  One winner will be chosen based on a creative essay of under 1000 words answering:  

“Discuss how you would use your business to address a problem that currently exists in the world and solve the issue.”

Amount

One time award of $25,000

Deadline

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is March 15, 2023.

Winner Announced

The winner for the scholarship will be announced April 15, 2023.

Applicant should email their response to the essay question “Discuss how you would use your business to address a problem that currently exists in the world and solve the issue.” in Word Doc format to [email protected].

Along with the essay, please provide the following information:
